CGR4M The Environment and Resource Management, Grade 12 (University/College Preparation) FastTrack

This course explores the geography of the world’s regions, focusing on the relationships between human populations, their environments, and the challenges posed by environmental and social issues. Students examine both the physical and human geography of various regions, and learn to assess and analyze global challenges from a geographic perspective.

Prerequisite: Any university, university/college, or college preparation course in Canadian and world studies, English, or social sciences and humanities

• Study of regional geography and the relationship between people and their environments
• Analysis of the impact of social, economic, and environmental challenges in different regions
• Exploration of human-environment interactions and their consequences
• Development of geographic research and analytical skills
